Proposal for New Policy - Membership Review (Please note: DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS IS DUE 28.2.14)The committee has been discussing adopting a policy for when a member of Stamford Choral may not be able to continue to participate effectively at the standard required of the society. is a free online resource that allows you to listen to individual voice parts of major choral works. The parts for the Dvorak Mass in D can be found here. Another very useful resouce is John Fletcher Music. Click here for the link to Elgar Te Deum and Benedictus. Ave Maria is also available, you will need to navigate to the NEWS section to find recently-added scores, and then to February.
You could also try Saffron Choral Prompt and ChoralLine. They are both very useful, but please note that the resources they provide are not free to use and Stamford Choral cannot provide funding for the use of these sites.
Voice Placement Tests
From September 2012, all new and prospective members of Stamford Choral will be asked to undertake a Voice Placement test within three or four weeks of joining. Explanatory notes and the list of requirements can be found here.
